My family of five (two adults, three kids aged 3-13) spent one night here in June. The room was remarkably spacious and functional and had excellent natural lighting. We did not hear any noise from the road or from the nearby train tracks. The breakfast was great, served in an attractive, open space with generous natural lighting. Parking was convenient. Well designed rooms, lobby has great interior decoration and it's just walking distance from all clubs and bars.
This is a nice Homewood Suites and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, I will never stay in downtown ABQ again, at any hotel, due to the unbelievably loud vehicles at all hours of the day and night. I don’t mean normal street noise, I mean cars revving their engines and doing what sounds like drag racing on the streets around the hotel. A quick google search showed me that this is a known problem in downtown. In addition, the hotel is located near the train station, and the train horns go pretty late into the night ... read more
