The hotel was nice when we first walked in and offered a decent selection for breakfast the next morning. However, walking down the hallways to our room was unpleasant as parts of ceiling tiles were missing. We arrived to our room, which was decently spacious, but was very outdated. The staff was semi-friendly. We have stayed at Hilton hotels before that were excellent, but we were extremely disappointed in this offering in Fort Lauderdale.
Homewood Suites by Hilton Ft.Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port hotel room is very outdated. For this to be Hilton, I'm disappointed. The rooms have a bad odor and the couch needs to be thrown away. There's no cable television and definitely not worth the money. The girl at the front desk was absolutely the rudest and there wasn't any laundry detergent to purchase. I did call ahead of time about 30mins prior to returning and was informed that they had laundry detergent. Never again will I spend my money here.
They have shuttle to and from the airport which is nice. We just stayed one night and would rebook. Huge room. Breakfast was awesome! Good job Hilton.
Huge shout out to the morning staff! Ivanna was a blessing after a very hectic early morning flight. Her welcome and strong problem solving skills made our stay! Hotel was pleasant, affordable and sufficient. Restaurants are somewhat walkable. Night staff was horrible, they have away my roll away although I booked for 7 in our suite, so i had to sleep on the floor!!! Ivanna apologetic and sincere demeanor once again made up for it in the morning.
