Omg , I inquired online about the program and a lady named HINA called me and was the most rude , short , uncompassionate , person ive ever talked to in my life !!!! She was bothered by my questions... it hurt me very much that a vulnerable person like me who needs help was made to feel bad to exist. She should not be employed!!!! I would never even think of ever going there now.
Homewood is a place for people looking to get help with really difficult and serious traumas and ptsd. Anyone coming here deserves respect and a high quality of care. The stark reality sets in quickly once you are there. The programs you were told they had for you to participate in are not being done, the therapies you were promised, not going to happen they market to you to get your money and once you are there everyone is checked out collecting there bloated salary for very very low quality of care. you have a tough day? Intake process lacks transparency. Little to no communication through the process; takes them weeks to return phone calls. No explanation for decision not to proceed with intake for my adult son even though he provided consent to share information with me. Disappointing pre-admission treatment given this is a wraparound healthcare facility that cares for persons suffering from addiction, mental health, and trauma.
