I don’t even know where to start with my experience at Homewood. It was absolutely terrible care from most of the staff I interacted with. Against my better judgement and fears, my psychiatrist (wish I could remember her name) and nurse convinced me and my family that ect would be my best option, that it was best to do it there at the hospital where I was in a safe environment. She said if I refused that meant I don’t want to get better so I did it angaibstvmy better judgement and endured it TEN times. She wanted me to do twelve sessions.
