Homewatch has been an absolute blessing with helping my dad enter the new phase of life without my mom. Our caretaker is with him a few hours a day, 3 times a week. We didn't want to overwhelm him with a "new roommate" so we've worked it up to a point that he recognizes that she is there to help him with the things that mom typically did for 60 years.
