My experience was not good. I called and told them I specifically wanted my tortoise to see an exotic, experienced vet. They assured me she would, but instead scheduled me with a vet tech. She had her nails trimmed but the girl cut her quick on almost every nail. She also had her beak "trimmed", which was them barely touching it with a dremel. You literally cannot tell the difference. We moved to Rochester from Wisconsin and needed to find a new Veterinarian for our dog. Luckily we found Homeward Bound Animal Clinic. It’s a nice new facility. Dr. Lucca is very thorough and caring.
We love the team at Homeward Bound! They take great care of or pets, are super communicative about appointments, follow ups, etc. and genuinely care for our animals. It is easy to schedule appointments and all at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend:)
I LOVE doctor Lucca. She's incredibly attentive to your pets needs and you can tell she loves your pet like you do. I was able to get in same day with her in an emergency. Her team is very responsive to any questions, even after hours, which is very rare to find. I've never felt more cared for with a vet. They check in on your pet via text and make sure they are ok - they don't wait for you to say something first. Lucca and her team work incredibly hard! I won't take my pet anywhere else.
