I’m new to the area and brought my turtle, Scrapper, here for a wellness exam and to get established with a new provider. From the start, I was impressed with how thorough the tech was in taking his history—there was a lot to cover, and they really took the time to get it all done. Dr. Natalie Lucca was wonderful. I am so grateful we found this vet when we moved to Rochester! Their staff is absolutely amazing with my dog, and Dr. Lucca is calm, patient, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. My dog had gastroenteritis and needed to stay for a day of fluids. He’s usually very anxious about the vet, but he quickly warmed up to everyone and even likes the Dr. now! Had a great experience. I just got a new kitty and brought him in for the first time and it was overall a great experience. The staff were amazing and the facility is great with all the toys and stuff they have for your cat to play with. I was nervous bringing him in cause I’ve had bad experiences at different vets before but they did great!
I have a German Shepherd - need I say more? Diesel had a bad experience with a Veterinary Clinic and was told he had to be sedated any time he came in to that clinic. Not with Dr Lucca!! Diesel has had the best appointments of his life with Dr Lucca and staff. He is still somewhat anxious however no sedation and he takes treats afterwards. We will be going back for as long as Diesel is around - big kudos to the team at Homeward Bound Animal Clinic!!!
