It's a budget hotel, and it's great if that's what you are wanting. The room was clean, which was nice. The location here in Greenville is also centrally located for traveling into the southern park and trails and north into downtown. Budget hotels, despite great renovations, have that 20 year old filtered cigarette smoke smell. Not quite enough to stick to your clothes, but enough to bother your nose. I’ve had my share of red roof over the years and various locations around the country and this is the best I’ve encountered so far I can’t speak highly enough of the service and the people behind the desk and they’re willingness to help and give her advice
