Hometown realty has been professional And kind I have been renting from them for a year now. Unfortunately i'm leaving and moving to a different state so I can no longer rent from them.But I just wanted to show my gratitude to how respectful and how professional they are.They were quick to get anything fixed that needed to be fixed.They treated me with dignity and respect, and they were very professional.I really hope that you guys get great tenants going forward.Thank you guys for your great service
I cannot get through to a living, breathing person on the phone. Their recording just repeats and repeats. It's very frustrating.
Used them as a landlord. Very poor correspondence and communication from their staff. Very hard to reach. Payments are always late. Always have to double check in to make sure things are done in timely fashion. My property was vacant for almost a year for no good reasons. Robin, albeit very very pleasant, runs a very lean business, understaffed… and it shows in her product. I urge her to work on these feedbacks objectively to try to improve her business. If not, I would avoid her as a management professional. Best of luck.
I am certain that they took our application feed knowing that the property we were interested in was already rented. We paid a total of $225 in application fees one evening and the very next day it was no longer available. Please save yourself some money and do not work with these people. Horrible company.
EDITING TO ADD: After filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, it should be noted that Hometown Realty replied to the complaint answering to none of the issues raised, and made it seem like I got off lucky for not incurring more penalties due to the absolute negligent care of the property in question.
