If I could give them zero stars, I would. I lived in one of their homes for two years, and the rental was arranged by a graduate school program that I was a part of. During two months rent was double paid and the company REFUSED to even acknowledge that this happened. When we realized that rent had been paid twice, we tried every means possible to talk to them about this issue and get the couple of thousand dollars that they owed me back. I rented a home for less than a year with Hometwon Properties and was relieved to just get out of the lease with them when the owner decided to sell the house. When I first moved in, the property was not clean at all and had many issues with the appliances rendering it not move in ready. The grass in the backyard was very long and filled with rats which pushed into the garage and walls of the home. This company is one of the worse companies to deal with. When I first moved in things were GREAT! After they had some growth and hired more ppl, unfortunately things went down hill from there. I spent more than 6mo with a leaking water heater and mold growth. The only reason it was fixed is due to a demand letter I had to send from an attorney.
