I called Hometown due to an outlet that was not working. I received AI and was provided days that were available but no time frame could be established. I asked to speak with a human and was told the same thing, more or less, but I was offered an 8 am - 10 am appointment on a Saturday. Very easy to work with and did their work efficiently. Did a great job of explaining what was installed and how to use it. Flexible with changing needs and communicated very well. Update 4/19/2026 — Existing customers were never informed that ABC Plumbing, Electric and whatever was merging or acquiring Hometown Heating and Cooling here in Cedarburg. Highly disappointed in this company. I value small local businesses and when my AC system failed, I called on Hometown to quote my system. The quoting process was a great experience and seemed very local, friendly, and caring. And they could get my new system installed quickly. Ultimately, I had them install the new system. Now, is when things have gone downhill. After install I was never invoiced, I called asking about invoicing and warranties and was told warranty would be filed upon payment. This company has been sold to ABC heating and cooling and is no longer a local Cedarburg company. This is deceptive and not mentioned on their website. An appointment was made without an appointment window and canceled at 2:30 PM after waiting all day for a technician. I cannot comment on whether or Not they would’ve done a good job as I will not be giving them a second chance.
