We had our annual cleaning for our gas fireplace recently and Eric did a very good and efficient job. He is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Our fireplace looks brand new again.
Yesterday we had a gas fireplace insert installed. It looks beautiful! The technicians were extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional! So far we love it!!!
This is my first experience with Hometown Fireplace Outlet. We looked at several Syracuse area stores for a gas log fireplace insert and chose HTFPO because their prices were the best, their showroom demonstration was professional and they did not try to up-sell us. Absolutely the worst . Told 2 days for prepaid parts. Weeks later still no part. Refused refund and now will not take my calls. Steer clear.
Hometown installed my furnace, ac, and two gas log sets. They were professional, on time, and very easy to work with. My furnace and ac needed updating and the salesman that came out was very professional and courteous. I had other quotes and Hometown had a better price with a better warranty. I strongly recommend you call them if you need a new furnace or air condtioniing. A++++

I have left full reviews on Angie's list, BBB, and Google for more details. I have documentation and pictures verifying everything I claim. The chimney for our wood stove was installed incorrectly and unsafely two times. Hometown Fireplace Outlet offered no compensation, and stopped responding to our inquires for resolution. We hired a certified inspector who found many issues with the installation. The town code enforcement officer was unable to issue a certificate of compliance for the stove.
