We used Hometeam for about 4 years for my father-in-law until he passed away. He had care 24/7 in his home - that is not an easy staffing situation. We always had coverage and the caregivers were compassionate and took good care of him. If there were personality conflicts they were great about finding another caregiver for us in a timely manner, and on the whole there was continuity of caregivers - a revolving door would have been stressful. I leave zero stars! This is a very unreliable company. The workers don't show up when requested. They do not submit paperwork to the long term care insurance company timely or at all! We have received letters from insurance company stating no documents sent in months! When called about these complaints they always have an excuse, never take responsibility or fix the problem.

Hometeam continues to work with this client on the issues stated. The process for submitting paperwork has been updated so that timely repayment can occur. In regard to workers showing up on time, we have had a steady aide in the home for several years with no timeliness issues, we did experience issues when additional hours were added at the last minute.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This is the worst home health care agency I have ever dealt with. They took my case knowing I was to receive 5 hrs a day 7 days a week. In two weeks, the first week I received care Mon-Thurs, 5 minutes Fri and none Sat and Sun; second week, care Mon-Wed, I had a Drs appt Thurs I could've received 3 hrs service afterward but they couldn't send anyone, and no service Fri-Sun. I am switching agencies immediately and I advise anyone needing reliable home health care to look elsewhere.

Ms. ****** started services on Monday October 8. Before we began services, we informed her that we were still working on staffing for the weekend. We provided services 4 days the first week and 3 days the next up until the time we were notified that Ms. ****** had replaced our agency. We were only listed as her agency for a total of 10 days and staffed 7 of those days. We had staffing in place for all 7 days when we were replaced. Hometeam staff communicated with Ms. ****** the entire time she was our client.
