I would recommend using another company. I had an unpleasant conversations with the customer service. I've had the same issues over and over again. I even decided to buy pesticides to get rid of the spiders, scorpions and water bugs that roam my house. I've asked for a manager/supervisors for different solutions. Instead, they keep asking me why I need services so soon and that I need to pay my balance, even though I was not around at the time they sprayed the house. I see many positive comments about HomeTeam Pest defense Charlotte; however, I cannot say the same for my experience with them. Since obtaining their service (going on 3 yrs now), I have experienced nothing but confusion as they continue to mishandle my account (and the worst part is that no one in the office seems to know what they are doing and they clearly do not communicate with other...otherwise I would not have this continued issues for almost an entire year!). Usually, I won't give any service a rating that low. I am doing this not only because they not only didn't do a good job but also cheated. When their customer service called me last week to renew the contract and schedule a new service, I told them that I wanted to discontinue the contract and service because they failed to address a spider issue for the last service. This low rating is specifically for the salesperson who did not speak to my husband or I in a professional way. Treating people in a respectful and corteous manner goes a long way in business. It is unfortunate that the office salesperson chose to interact in a rude and disrespectful manner. Her actions reflect poorly on a company that was recommended by a family member. I am living in Orlando only for 6 months. In Jan. I contacted this company and was given a price for the initial service and another price for the quarterly service. I had to call after the second service as my credit card had been billed at the initial rate fee. A few weeks ago I cancelled service as I was moving out of the city July 1 (prior to my next quarterly service date). Seems like they are unable to schedule treatments at your house. I've been paying 50 bucks a month for them, and anytime they come to treat my house, they can only do the outside because they call 5 mins before they come. They always say that i can call back later and they will come back out, but i shouldn't have to. One time i had rats, and they used poisoned food. I later read online that the rats will sometimes die in the walls and leave odor's and rot, so i did my own solution of mouse traps, i caught 6 by myself and now... read more

Customer for years. High rates and their defense is a joke to say the least. I only stayed with them because yes the guys are friendly who come and spray but when called that is a whole other story. There are many common bugs they don't even treat for and I am not talking about spiders.

Hometeam defense all they do is care about charging the most money they can for service beware of Ron. They chrage you 150.00 dollars for your first vist. And after that 84 bucks a month every two months. They quoted me. That after being a pay costomer 5 years a lapse in a new bank card chip cause a lapse in payment and only after a month they sent me to collections. Thats what ron quoted me to start new service. Go with blue sky pest control the charge 79 to start and only 62 every other month alot more reasonable than gett... read more
