We recently bought a house and the seller chose Homestead as the title company. Our experience was pretty bad with them. They told us that we could close remotely. When they sent us the documents to sign the day before closing, they had the wrong address on them. It took them hours to fix it which delayed our ability to sign. They then had the nerve to ask us if we wired the money before they fixed the documents.
