These people do not take care of their properties-the fridge didn't work for over a month and the toilet was left broken for over 2 weeks, they are awful to deal with. Disrespectful and they ask for security, first and last months rent which I do believe is against housing rules. I would recommend you do not do business with Homestead properties.
Decided not to rent through them. Demanded security deposit up front before even seeing the lease. After getting the lease, noticed a lot of clauses which left the tenant open to huge fines. Tried to negotiate to get the lease more reasonable, was not very easy to work with, and in the end, we couldnt get the lease to a reasonable level, and decided to opt out. Had an incredibly difficult time getting the deposit back.
My family has rented through Homestead Properties for several years. We have always had fantastic experiences with them. Ann has responded to minor concerns about problems immediately on a rental. Homestead Properties are professional. The properties are always clean and represented exactly the way they appear. You get greeted and all concerns are taken care of immediately. No waiting in long lines. Homestead Properties is the way to go if you are visiting South County!
