Herm and his team of contractors are top notch! Every sub who came onto the project was timely and proficient in their trade. This was a renovation of an existing structure and instead of scabbing onto existing it was basically demoed of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical to install all new with a price point others were going to only repair not replace. Herm and his team are extraordinary. The professionalism, the communication, and the follow through were next level. Herm did what he said he would do and it set the foundation for trust. He transformed an entire unfinished basement into my HOME. The work done for me is amazing. I’ve already recommended him and his team and will continue to do so to friends and neighbors! Herm and his group are great! First, the communication is excellent and he is very open-minded to what your looking for. I am posting this review to warn others of the concern in communication, product and billing practices I experienced over the past 2.5 years with this company. It’s too bad, really. I was a customer who planned & hoped for my dream home & felt as though I “did my homework” in choosing a contractor. In the beginning I trusted Herman Boonstra, but between late 2022 - late June 2025 I’ve been overcharged thousands of dollars.
