Manager at this location was horrible. Talked rudely to my kids and family. She also threatened us and talked crazy to us. Our room was filthy when we came in and cooperate did nothing to help with this matter either. The only good part was the staff other than the manager. Manager will lie to you is plain crazy. Stay far away from this location. There are other hotels down the street that are way better than this location.
I checked in Friday 7/11/25 , walked in a few steps to my room and immediately CHECKED OUT. It was smelly, not clean and overall disgusting. The tiny Elevator inside was full of weed smoke on my way down. I needed a key to use the lobby bathroom like a gas station?! And it looked like someone's personal tongue scraper was in the bathroom?? Disgusting
There was people constantly trying to gain access to the room. Several times someone had a key and opened the door to the room. The staff acted as if I was wrong for being upset! This is extremely unacceptable, If the hotel management doesn't do something to compensate me for my inconvenience, I'll never stay at the hotel again. There is no way another guest should ever have access to someone's room. They need to do something to correct that issue. What if I was asleep and someone just walked in and I was armed... Overall, it's better than expected. Front desk and housekeeping highly professional. There's some road noise, and others may slam the door on the hallway. Clean but some visible imperfections.... Much better than other Detroit stays.
