I stayed here for awhile while house hunting. Unless your standards are absurd, this place does just fine. I’ve stayed at many places MUCH worse off. I really enjoyed my stay and am very thankful for the staff. The rate was great, the room felt extremely clean, everything worked and operated fine. The shower was clean and hot. This room was the last on our list. Walked in and it smelled like straight Indian Food like yuck. I went to check the bed, and it was long black hair in the bed. Horrible. Then the rags in the bathroom was not clean. Went to wash my face and ended up with a dog hair on my face. Unacceptable. Then when I tell the person at the desk he said OK bring the old one's downstairs and you can get more. No sorry no remorse no nothing. I said that sounds like housekeeping job not mine. I am not sure how this hotel is rated so well. I would have given it a 1 star had it not been for the great service. The rooms are dated, dirty and the carpet had burn holes in it. The bed sunk in like it was 30 years old and there were bugs (not bed bugs) in the room. Not to mention it seemed to be a hub for drug activity. The police were there when we were. I strongly suggest to avoid this hotel.
We stayed here out of necessity for a night, on our way to somewhere else. We were pleasantly surprised. Average accommodations....but we were expecting a lot worse! The staff were overworked but nice and the price was fair.
