If I could give zero stars I would. Our appraisal came in 150K under the home value.. multiple things on the appraisal were incorrect and poor comps used…. Messed up three home sales in the process… getting a new appraisal now
It is important for appraisers to be timely and responsive and prioritize communication and accuracy in their work. Unfortunately, the appraisers' slow response time and failure to answer the phone likely caused frustration and delayed the appraisal process. I recently had a disappointing experience with an appraiser who was slow to respond, unresponsive to phone calls, and provided an incomplete appraisal.
