Update on my review.. Octavio from Homestate reached out and put forward conditions that I firstly remove my review and secondly I meet them in my bank, and then they will take the bank checks (which means they will immediately cash my check without me receiving my payment). I am so tired of dealing with Octavio/Homestate that I am thinking about closing my claim with the insurance company and replacing my roof out of pocket. Don't make the same mistake as I made. They replaced my roof in 2021 and with the storm we have leak. I have called a few times and left voicemails with NO RETRUN Call. I submitted their online form hoping for a call and I even stopped by their office to try and talk to someone and I left a message with someone and still no return call. Don't use this company if you want to actually have follow up from them.
Company left flyer on the door. Signed contract, insurance denied roof replacement. The Homestate agent settled for partial damage, tried to have me open 2nd claim with hope of approval. almost 2 years later, terminated contract. Well... time to update this review ( Jan 2024) I did not give it bad feedback since I thought that it was not a issue with the adjuster, but my roof was still good. 3 months after terminating contract with Homestate, I have a roofing company with claim approval from Farmers to replace whole roof.
