I called for a "tune-up" before the heating season begins. A technician came as agreed, and found that the the furnace's blower ran continuously, but the burner wouldn't ignite. He couldn't identify the problem and called to have a more experienced technician come that afternoon. The second technician identified the problem as a "bad" main circuit board and he ordered a replacement board. The second technician returned with a new main circuit board, and it appears the furnace is now fixed.
