Everything was great until we moved out. We lived in the same house for 3 years. The house was cleaner when we left it then when we moved in. Every nail hole in the wall from hanging family pictures, was patched and sanded. The things that they held our deposit back was for things such as tightening the ceiling fan blades and door knobs! After our house was poorly repaired for a water leak when we moved in , it slowly deteriorated the washing room drywall and created black mold and leakage to the master bedroom. When asking for accommodations for an offsite stay (motel or hotel) during the repair, we were yelled at, threatened with legal action and berated. Please note, there were numerous "house inspections" during the period of 2015 and 2016 by the Homes4Lease employees. It would have been presumed they would have noticed a black mold issue. Ray Callicott and John Terrell the owners of Homes 4 Lease were very difficult to deal in the process of getting issues resolved with maintenance and repair. One made a promise and the other would fail to keep it. When they had a plumber that eventually came out to the house, he proceeded to walk through the house with human excrement on his boots and soiled the carpet. My problem is with the owner and the pool being available. Last year I went to use the pool. You need a key which is provided once the HOA dues have been paid. I spoke with HOW and they informed me that the dues had not been paid. I emailed the office several times last year between May and July about the home owner not paying dues for us to use the pool. . This is the most awful renting experience I have EVER had to deal with. I have worked in property management for four years and know how things operate. My husband and I moved in just a few months ago. The duplex was disgusting, has cockroaches, and they will not fix ANYTHING. Poor Excuse for a Rental Management Company – The only rating Homes 4 Lease deserves is zero. Do not rent or place your valued property in the hands of these scam artists. They are letting the properties deteriorate. The move in condition is less than desirable. They promise to clean, paint, fix and repair, but do not follow through. Disrespectful Company – I am not normally the type to write a bad review but my experiences with Homes 4 Lease were horrible. They posted the house I was renting on Craigslist which made people knock on my door at all hours of the night. Then when I contacted them about it they refused to help me. horrible company – This company is an absurd joke. Unprofessional is the best word to describe the lack of attentiveness that both leasor and leasee can expect from the owner and employees of this poorly run company. I wish one could give a negative rating which this company deserves!
