Homer came in on 2 very large emergency jobs within hours! Cranes and a full staff were required. Jim continued to get through to ComEd to make sure the job was 100% complete and the home safe for us to return. They came in, worked like crazy, and left the yard absolutely clean. Jim and Becca (office manager) we’re so accommodating and kept me in the loop while waiting on Com Ed. I would absolutely recommend them for dependablity, professionalism, and a job well done!!
They started chopping this tree down at 6:45 am and I have a teething toddler who they woke up. Asked the foreman if this was normal practice and he said “it’s not my f****** problem, call the city, not my f****** problem.” Don’t use Homer Tree Care. Bunch of jerks.
Nice job. Fast work, cleaned up everything. They were very safe and took good care of the property. I would definitely call them again.
Avoid blocking MAJOR thoroughfares during shift change and school hours.
Very disrespectful. In front of our home at 5:30 am with several large trucks running & collecting equipment. Mulched trees right next to our home on very windy day. Now our two brand new ac units are caked w sawdust & our house & porches are covered. Two individuals did come by & somewhat blow off the porches.
We just had 5 guys out to take down a big ash tree. First of all, their quote was WAY lower than all the other companies. Also, all 5 guys were very hospitable. We brought them coffee and donuts for being so great! No damage to anything, no issues whatsoever. Ivan, cesar, francisco, celilio and omar were great, and we will be requesting them for future service to our remaining trees!
I have used Homer Tree 2 other times with no problems that is the only reason they are getting a 2. I am not sure if it is due to the new GM Melissa but I could not be more disappointed with there lack of customer service. I have had 2 no call no shows and multiple times after that where an arborist was to contacts me then nothing. It was explained to them the dangerous position this tree is in.
