This place is okay. The coffee was good and the customer service was alright. Maybe stay focus on the customer's needs.

weekends there's a line. There's a reason for that especially for breakfast. I worked in the kitchen years ago (amd by years, I mean decades). Maybe they've cleaned up the kitchen since then and if so I'd absolutely make it 5 or even 10 stars now!

If you have time to wait and have a slow breakfast, than this will work for you. If you want to be in an out in an hour, dont bother. This place is older and sometimes the service is slow, but in my opinion, it is worth it. There is always a line down the block, my friends and I have been going for years, I think it is a great place to get breakfast at any time of the day. Just be in a relaxed, patient mood when you go.

YUMMY FOOD-SLOW SERVICE DUE TO KITCHEN SETUP FROM 1980s – I have been an HC patron since the mid 1980s. I go to HC for comfort food when I am feeling down/preoccupied. I have found the waiters quite pleasant. I tend to go during the week because it does get very crowded on the weekends & service can be slow. The underlying cause for slow service at that time is that fact that HC has had the same kitchen set up(grill size, #of burners, etc.) since at least the mid 1980s.
