Your #1 "Restaurant" in Portland [Standard Bakery] - and I LOVE the place and have written about it - is, not only a bakery but a coffee shop. There is NO reason why Homegrown Herb & Tea isn't also included on your "restaurant" listings as it's an unbelievably wonderful place for tea (and homemade baked goods and other treats) all hand-made by the SUPER attentive owner who is an herbalist of the very finest order. More people need to know about this place....and I can't wait to write my review!!!

Her herbs for respitory and sexual drive are top notch
If you're looking for a zen personable experience, this is the shop for you. Sarah will brew up a wonderful tea specific to your mood or check out her amazing tea menu. We stop by whenever we get to Portland Maine. The best!

Not only is the tea wonderful, but her skin care products are out of this world! The nourishing oil is the only moisturizer I use on my face, and there isn't enough to be said about Sarah. No matter how busy she is, she always has time for some friendly conversation. Just walking into Homegrown gives you a sense of peace and well being. Thank you, Sarah!!!
