Your #1 "Restaurant" in Portland [Standard Bakery] - and I LOVE the place and have written about it - is, not only a bakery but a coffee shop. There is NO reason why Homegrown Herb & Tea isn't also included on your "restaurant" listings as it's an unbelievably wonderful place for tea (and homemade baked goods and other treats) all hand-made by the SUPER attentive owner who is an herbalist of the very finest order. More people need to know about this place....and I can't wait to write my review!!!

I love their teas! I get peace & yoga tea, and they are amazing! These are the best teas I have ever tried - if you’re a person who loves trying new teas and different flavors, this place is worth a try. I ordered online since I am back at college in STL, and the tea came wrapped all nicely still!! This place wraps it in paper and used twine, even more sustainable. I would recommend their teas to everyone.
Pure magic. The kind of place that all places should be like :) Sarah is radiant and it's such a beautiful time spent. Cozy, artsy, homesteady!

I am absolutely in love not only with your tea but, also, with your skincare products!!!! The aroma!!! Sigh. ❤ My skin was glowing after the first use. I didn't use foundation!!! I will be back (and back again and again and again)!!!
I happened to walk by this shop on a recent trip to Portland. Sarah is very knowledgeable about teas and created a blend for my husband who was sick with a head cold. The place is wonderful I loved it so much I went back the next day!!!!
I hobbled in to get some tea for my sore joints and left feeling much better! The owner is so sweet and generous with her knowledge and her energy! I highly recommend going there for some self care! <3 I will be back!
I grow - harvest/forage then blend my own herbal teas, yet still make time to visit Homegrown for advice, inspiration, and the best tasting/most balanced herbal teas in all the land.
I’ve heard great things about this shop and love the selection I see on the website, but literally every time I stop by to buy something, the shop is closed for this reason or that with no notice but a note on the door. It would be much better to notify that morning if not in advance through Facebook rather than for me to drive all the way there and find a note on the door. Needless to say, I went over to Dobra tea instead.
