I always had good experiences with HomeGoods (at locations across different states) many furniture items and decor are from the chain. The latest episode shocked me. I was treated like a criminal for trying to return an item. I just moved to the area and spent hundreds of dollars over the past few weeks filling up my apartment. One of the purchases was a mirror about 4x3ft that didn't fit. So I tried to return it after less than a week. Tried to return a trash can that I used for 3 days and was told that items must be “unused.” The trash can was clean, had no scratches or dents. I was able to return it with no problem at the Seattle location. Almost 100% sure it was due to racism.
Good little busy but lots of great stuff.
