I recently visited the Buckhead HomeGoods store and was disappointed with the customer service I received from Sam (Aka Samantha) during checkout. She was rude and appeared to be engaging in conversations with her coworker and her coworker's customers of like kind while I was checking out. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome as I was not treated with the same level of respect or attention as the other customers in line. Don’t go to this HomeGoods on Roswell Rd, there are plenty of other locations!! I wanted to purchase a standing lamp (very heavy), so I tried to have an employee get it for me as it was inaccessible behind some furniture. The employee never came back to help me and I hurt my back trying to do it myself. Once I got a closer look at the lamp, there were dead bugs squished onto the lamp shade, so the lady at checkout had to cut the protective plastic away to clean out the dead bugs. This HomeGoods location is well stocked and organized. It is always busy but is managed well so checkout is always quick and efficient.
