I stayed at the Econo Lodge off Sycamore View and unfortunately the experience was pretty underwhelming. The price was affordable, which is really the main reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1, and the staff at the front desk was decent enough during check-in. That said, the property itself feels very run down. Right off the freeway that's the only nice thing I could come up with. First Sheila seemed inconvenienced when I tried to check in, once we got to the room after the smoke filled elevator we only had 2 towels(why ask how many ppl staying if you don't put the proper amount of towels) no phone so off to the elevator we went for 2 more towels. Made reservation over the phone after trying to book online. Arrived and after entering first door, door to lobby was locked. There was a small window where a confused woman finally appeared after ringing the bell. She tried to charge me for the room again after I explained that I already paid with the guy on the phone. They advertise a $10 per night per dog of which we have two. She charged us $30. I told her that the advertised rate was $20. She argued until I pulled it up online to show her.
