We stayed at this location for an overnight when in the area for an event. The hotel is conveniently situated just outside downtown Poughkeepsie, among many plazas and stores. This is a newer property with plenty of parking and modern amenities in their spacious rooms. A free breakfast buffet is provided in the lobby area, they have a fitness center and an indoor pool also on the first floor. We recently stayed at the Poughkeepsie NY Home2 Suites for 18 days and we have no complaints at all. We were in the area visiting family. The location was perfect for visiting family and great for shopping and restaurants. The staff were all friendly, professional, helpful, efficient, etc. The rooms were decorated with pleasant colors, plenty of room and storage.
