If you are receiving care at Nebraska Medicine, this is the place to stay. Very reasonable rates, rooms are nicely sized. It's also close enough to qualify for free shuttle service across the entire campus. This is big since parking is typically tight. They have a morning breakfast. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Inside, secure parking.
We stayed at the Home2Suites by Hilton in Omaha, UNMC, Thursday night. I had an appt at UNMC early on Friday. There was a small issue with our room but was immediately upgraded. The 3 to 11 gal, I can't remember her name, was the best! So helpful, caring! We had no issues with our room! Great stay!
Our toilet didn't work... we were told our first night would be comped for it and that it would be fixed for our second night and NEITHER of those things happened. The refrigerator also did not work (it was plugged in), the room was infested with ants, there was mold in the shower - it smelled like sewage - and the front desk manager was horrible to my husband. We will NEVER stay here again.
This hotel was so disappointing unfortunately. It’s dirty and not in a safe area. The pictures online make it look clean and new. We checked into our 1 bedroom suite and instantly knew it was a mistake. It was late so we figured we could suck it it for the night and switch to a nicer hotel in morning. Tried to call the front desk and phones were not operational. Turned tvs on for our granddaughter and BOTH tvs were not working. Went to grab ice and the ice machine was down.
