this is a wonderful hotel. also, when do you guys reopen your pool? I noticed that it was never shown in the photos

We were on a long drive home from FL to OH and due to weather, ended up needing a place to stay with dogs and a toddler. Phil at the front desk was awesome and made our stay so enjoyable! He was so kind. Thank you for all that you do!
We arrived after 1:30 am, this morning. After checking in and getting settled in our room, it was after 2. Keep in mind, Newberry is not a vacation attraction or tourist area. We were here for the sole purpose of serving legal papers on Saturday. Since we are IHG members, we believed we could get a one hour extension given our extremely late check in. We guessed wrong. We offered to pay for the extra hour and were told, “no. Check out is at 11:00-no exceptions.” Now, I can understand that if the hotel was full but, as I said... read more
