This place was great. Paid parking by city around back at $16 for 24hours. Great staff and very polite. Breakfast was free with the normal spread of ham, eggs, cereal, waffles, etc... Within walking distance of several restaurants and quiet area.
Another hotel claiming an indoor pool that has been under maintenance for longer than the front desk could remember. We chose it for the pool. Paid more than a closer hotel to the venue, only to have to pay for ~$200 in activities around Louisville to make up the time we were going to use the pool to keep children occupied. It didn't have a tub. My husband has cancer he likes to soak in tub. I ask front desk if they had rooms w tub. They had few but rooms was taken.
In a good location, right by NuLu, so close to many places to eat, music, shops, UofL. Front desk staff were very nice. The good ended there. The room had red paint randomly on things, the tile in the bathroom, the phone and remote. Speaking of the bathroom, not being cleaned well, mostly crusty bits in the shower. Breakfast was pretty bad as well, I ended up walked to a hotel in NuLu 5 minutes away for a great breakfast. Edit - updated to reflect another stay, down from 2 stars to 1.
