The room was clean and comfortable and the amenities very nice. But I was horrified to see the employees at the welcome desk standing for all of their 6+ hour shifts. There were chairs less than 10 feet away but I was told they were not allowed to use them while on shift. This is completely absurd and took my 5 star review all the way down to a 2.
Now that Hilton Corporate got involved and resolved the issue, I feel I can speak on this. I had a family emergency and had to leave before my second night. I left between 2-3pm with no issue from the front desk. While I understand policy, I was hoping for an exception since I wouldn’t be staying for most of that second day.
