The good: The location is very convenient, but it isn't hard to get around downtown Leavenworth. There are several places to eat within walking distance and you can be on Fort Leavenworth in 5 minutes or less. The staff was always pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. The fitness center had the usual stuff for a hotel, but was actually a bit larger with more equipment than most hotels this size. Great place to stay, with excellent customer service.
EDIT: The defensive response from the owner tells you everything you need to know: I know I wasn’t a guest but it’s still an interaction your hotel had with the community at large and still matters lol. If the policy was consistently enforced I’d get that but this is the only time I’ve had trouble, you can’t say it’s for safety because people walk in and out of the hotel all the time with no trouble I only got harassed because I was carrying food and now you’re mad that you’re getting called out for selectively enforcing a p... read more
