As a Diamond member, when I checked in I asked for a late checkout. It was middle of the night. The clerk said you have to ask in the morning. I said that defeats the purpose of sleeping in. I also said I have never had to do that. Would not hear anything about it. Got up in the morning and asked the front desk, John was there and he was great, gave me the late checkout. I tried emailing Trevor, the GM twice, but got no reply.

The hotel room was adequate, but the breakfast was in a sorry state. More than 1 hour before the end of breakfast, the selection was decimated and not replenished- practically no bread, no hot water for tea. I was able to snag one of the few remaining bagels, but it was stale. Bacon looked soggy and wet. One woman asked for something and was told “no” despite being far from end of service. Great place to stay for a comfortable, restful night’s sleep after traveling all day. Amicable staff. Spacious facility, offering four floors of guest rooms. Our room was nicely furnished with a flatscreen television, large bed, and sofa. There was a convenient kitchen area with essential dinnerware. Shower option only. The first floor offered a large fitness area with an array of equipment for achieving a good workout. Specifically decided to write a review because was very pleased and impressed with Annette's hospitality at the front desk - she is kind and helpful! The hotel and its amenities are what you pay for, nothing too special but get the job done. Perfect stopping point on the way to Havasupai.
