This is the worst Home2 Suites hotel I've stayed at in terms of breakfast. I always look forward to the pre-made hot breakfast sandwiches and individual servings of potatoes at Home2, but this location had none of that. In addition, cafe tastes bad ... During my stay, the elevator was also broken, and my friends ended up having to carry their luggage up and down the stairs themselves.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. However, the hallway carpets were a major downside — they had a strong, unpleasant odor, likely from mold or accumulated dirt. I strongly recommend that management either deep clean the carpets regularly or consider replacing them with hardwood flooring for a fresher, more hygienic experience. The hallway way smell is terrible.
We were visiting Houston, TX from North Carolina and had the most pleasant lodging experience because of our Hotel Front Desk Clerk, whose name was Chaundra! She was so friendly and attentive not only to us, but to all the other hotel guests we witnessed! She helped us with restaurant and shopping recommendations and politely answered inquiries we had. A great asset to the Home 2 Suites by Hilton franchise and she should be commended for a job well done! Thanks, Ms. Chaundra for making our trip to Houston even more memorable... read more
