We drove Dallas a 5-6 hour drive we arrived at 2:00 we asked the front desk when we will get our card to go in our room he said wait 5 minutes every 10 minutes we came and asked then more people started coming and went in there room first even tho they were there for only 10-15 minutes and then my family told the front desk at 4:20 and they speaker a little loud because we were there for 2hrs and 30minutes and they called the police and they kicked us all out and this is why it’s a bad review very bad hotel very bad customer... read more
The things in the first pic were not done! Second pic is our view from our room. We were located in a tight corner and people threw trash from their balcony. It also was dirty, gunk on the wall above the trash can, night stand was dirty, stains on a cushion. These issues were clearly visible. I have lost confidence and will never stay at a Hilton again!
We have been Hilton members for many years and we travel a lot and always stay at Hilton hotels because of the high standards that comes with staying at a Hilton property but this location was hands down the worst ever. We were told our room would be ready before 4PM but of course it wasn't. We constantly checked in with front desk staff for status on room readiness as we had an engagement to attend at a particular time. Perfect view of the beach and close, easy access to the beach. Anytime of the day or night. Great breakfast every morning 6-9am. Something for everyone. We had a blast and the room was very nice and roomy with complete kitchen and dishwasher. The only two things I wish was different was one, the parking was $20 a day and #2, their swimming pool. It was very, very tiny, not made for more than 7 kids at a time, not really pool for toddlers or adults. It was 4 ft on two ends and 5ft in middle. Everything else was perfect.
I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but I genuinely need this hotel to improve for future guests. There were several issues with the hotel booking, yes we booked through a 3rd party but when we needed the issue resolved all they could tell us was, “sorry you have to go through them because we can’t do anything.” Well there was something they could do, but the lady in the front just didn’t want to or was incapable.
