The hotel itself was clean, and my stay was comfortable overall. Hotel is at a walkable distance from the downtown. I would especially like to recognize the lady receptionist at the front desk, who was exceptionally kind, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. Revising my review: We were told our rate would be lower by switching rooms during the stay. We had unpleasant surprise of our hotel rate being doubled then tripled for the last two nights, adding even more stress to ask already stressful weekend visiting a relative in the ICU. What started as 260 per night ended at 690 per night - 1800 for a 4-night stay. We've tried to contact the hotel manager to get this corrected with no response. I had a stay here. King bedroom. Microwave didnt work. No maintenance until the morning. They offered to move me to a downgrade room...not the comprable room I paid for. Ordered dinner tbat waa ruined, who wants cold.food? And waste of money. All I go was a Im sorry. We pay for accomadations and expect them to work.
