Flight at ATL got cancelled, so I got a room at Home2 Suites for the first time. I was quite surprised at how close/convenient and nice it was, especially for the price. Our room was big, new, and secure. I didn't need to use any of it, but it looked like there was plenty of food-prep/eating stuff in the kitchen area. Breakfast was great and they even had a waffle cooker thingy. All-in-all very pleased with the place.
The woman that was working the reception on the night of 6/14 to 6/15 was amazing. All the hotels in the area were fully booked due to transport disruption at the airport. This hotel was also fully booked. She went out of her way to try to find a place for me to stay. Also cared for me in the cafeteria until I could find something. Very grateful for her and please recognize her on my behalf.
