If only 0 stars could be given... had them directly call the service tech before I could and they gave him DIRECT instructions that all costs would be on me without him having the chance to look at the issue. Very unprofessional and a waste of money.
I've never had any issues with my warranty. I've had to call for service twice, once for a garage door opener and once for a plumbing leak. Both times the people I spoke to were courteous and thorough in their instructions. Other than having to seek my own service both times, which in this day and age is more difficult than it really should be, I have no complaints. Reimbursement was received in a timely manner. Read and understand your contract and you'll be fine.
I would give zero stars if I could. We have been having troubles with our hvac. Ron has been miserable to work with. We were told by one company it needed replaced and another company did a repair but stated it will likely need replaced as it is 17 years old. Ron was rude and argumentative from the first time we talked to him. We’re fine with just doing the repair and not replacing but he was absolutely rude and did not care at all about the fact that we have an infant in the home who can’t stay in these temperatures. Save yourself the money and put $40 in the bank every month... If you use these guys you will LOSE... I've tried 3 claims with these guys and out of $6000 in repairs total out of the they covered $400. First Claim i feel was somewhat fair they Paid $400 on a $1000 repair. Now I have a $5000 claim and they want to pay $250. Home warranty stated "they only pay on first component". found a loophole to get out of fixing my appliance. had i not purchased the policy, i would have been able to replace myself and have money left over. waste of time and money
