Complete waste of money. Coverage is sub-par, maintenance should be covered regardless of what is going on with any item that is covered. Paying the service charges are understandable but if a system in your home is in need of constant repairs its time for a replacement. Don't waste your time with this so-called warranty company.
Based on our experience over several years, HWA has been one of the most disappointing home warranty companies we've ever used. Their customer service has consistently been disrespectful, unhelpful, and unwilling to support critical claims—even for appliances they explicitly state are covered. We really lost our money with this company, never covered anything, they put any excuse to not covered.
Agreed, avoid this company!!! I spent a week reading the fine print prior to purchasing the most premium package. I had a very comprehensive understanding of what should be coved and what would not be covered. Simply put, their fine print means nothing. I was stuck with a service call of $450 and HWA wouldn't reimburse NOR cover the long term fix. I got nothing from paying them $80 p/ mth. The sales lady lied to me and would never return my call.
