I wish there was a negative star. We purchased a home warranty with company which include repairs or replacements on major appliances. Our washing machine is now in need of repair and they are prolonging the process by shopping for cheaper repair vendors. They told us a lie that the original repair guy did not provide adequate info of the repairs needed. Prompt service and good technician. However, when he said that our refrigerator could not be fixed, HWA offered us a small percentage of what it cost to replace, despite the fact that we pay a hefty premium every month and have done so for years. I was very disappointed.
The claim was approved but no one has advised when he will complete the repair my mom is elderly and without AC
I'm extremely disappointed with the coverage since 2022. We've had to have our furnace repaired at least 4 times and it finally broken to the point where it is not repairable. This is through normal wear and tear of the unit and a crack developed in the fan housing. HWA denied my claim because this is physical damage and not mechanical damage - even though the damage was caused by the mechanics and without the housing the mechanism won't work.
