This review is long over due. First thing I can say is WOW! These guys are awesome and make a quality product that they stand behind. I purchased a Link12 unit with their high-end speakers almost two years ago. I had intermittent issues for the first year and my professional installer and IT company tried and tried to resolve the issues and contacted HTD support multiple times. Each time with no luck. I discovered HTD about 5 years ago while searching Google for a solution to my home and garden center business. Both places have older wired speaker setups in place. I was always going through amplifiers because the systems couldn't handle what we wanted to do. At my home, there were speakers outside in two different locations, in our den as well as kitchen, living room and home gym in the basement. If you want 5 star customer service with 5 star quality product, this is the place to purchase your product. I am the third family member to purchase a home audio package and we are all super happy with the experience.
Mixed feelings on these folks. I have installed several Lync 12 v3 systems now and the product isn't fully cooked. The controller needs to be frequently restarted to get the zone and/or keypads back in order. The controller also doesn't auto-switch input voltage between 110-220V. The other components (amps, gateway) auto-switch voltage, so seems like an oversight. Consider other options.
