I rent a property with Home Sweet Home Realty. This property’s old heat pump was frozen over (see attached photo) and thus not able to function efficiently to heat our house and our water. The repairman informed us that problems like this are often not discovered immediately because the heat pump is still functioning, albeit very inefficiently, to heat the house, and thus it is difficult to immediately detect a problem.
