We hired Jerry with Home Run to inspect a new home we were purchasing and were very pleased with the entire process. We met with Jerry at the house and he walked us through everything that he had reviewed and pointed out things we needed to consider. About a month into being in the new house, we found some rot in the living room windows that would have been hard to spot, but had obviously been ongoing for some time. Had a home inspection on a purchase in NE Wisconsin in August 2018. MULTIPLE items missed that have been unexpected and costly repairs. These items were NOT on the inspection sheet. I am still coming across deficiencies that an inspector should have checked, caught, reported. 1. Not advised of a 6 Gallon a day drip (running) from the tub spigot - resulting in a $150 bill 3 days after move-in. 2. A clogged tub with an old Drum Trap on the tub, and the trap type is not allowed by code. The cost on that fix is still in process.... read more
