Absolutely awful conditions, apartments and hallways full of roaches and homeless people. When I went to tell the building manager about roaches coming out of my thermostat he scoffed at me, then said that's not possible because the building is "professionally" sprayed. Which is a lie. My apartment was skipped over for months and never sprayed despite me asking them about it for months. This place and the people that run the buildings are slum lords and do not deserve a penny from anyone.
This is my second home that I have rented from Home Rentals. Let’s just say these people have been nothing but good to me BOTH times I’ve been with them. Everytime I call about something they come out within 24/48 hours depends on what it is but they always get my problem taking care of even if that means coming back. I had got behind in very large money amount but long as I communicated with them they worked with me and most importantly the home we live in our kids feel safe in the area. Terrible and corrupt people. Filthy living environments. Infestations. Crime and violence all over Carbondale. Constant break-ins and theft. Reported that my locks had been picked and neighbor was stealing things in my apartment, I asked if they could do something about it. Home Rentals staff replied, "If they're picking the locks, do you think it's going to do any good to change them?" Wow! Can't get no one to come out and do anything new realtor supposed to come look at these apartments hopefully they are going to upgrade stuff it's really not bad if maintenance will take care business
