horrible place of business I was a prior employee, and there were numerous times that I saw people being overcharged for repairs done, and also several times the service writers tried to sell repairs that were not needed. Labor rates are high and turn around time is slow. Very unprofessional management, and horrible customer service. I do not recommend Home Motors for car purchases or repairs.
Great dealership This place has been around forever and my family and I frequently go to them for our used vehicles. They have a large selection of vehicles and are always willing to negotiate. The vehicles are always in great shape and they provide you with the receipts for all of the repairs, replacements and maintenance that they have done on the vehicles prior to sale. Overcharging for Labor/Parts They don't apply the $95 diagnoitic charge to the repair bill and overcharge for labor/parts. Charged $95 to diagnoise problem - turn the key and listen to the fuel pump not coming on. Wanted an additional $1070 to replace the fuel pump/filter. Total Cost $1,170. Dropped it off at 8:30am and needed a 2nd day to finish work. Another local shop charged $850 for the same work and used the same OEM parts. $300 off! Work was completed in less than 4 hours/same day service.
Decent Car Dealership We purchased our last family vehicle at Home Motors. It was a used car. The staff was really friendly and did not come off too much like a "used car salesman". They were there to answer questions and to negotiate a deal with us, but they were not too pushy. One of the things that I liked was that they gave us receipts for all of the work that they had had done on the car to prepare it for selling.
