This place saved my life. I was homeless for seven years until I was welcomed into this shelter. For those who are trying to get on their feet this place is great. small groups, clean, safe, drug free good food. The staff truly cares about helping people. I've been homeless for almost 9 months now. I've given up seeking help because I got tired of playing phone tag! They even put me in a circle with JFS saying they can help me instead. Which news flash. Was a straight up lie. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do, where to go, and who to go to for help due to how unreliable they've been.. Hell the jobs around here refuse to either hire me full time or barely give me hours.JFS
The HIT Foundation has always been there for the community. My experience with them has been nothing but excellent. As long as you follow your lease guidelines and NOT try to find any loopholes your experience will be the same. I would definitely recommend the HIT Foundation!!
