For four years Seaside has been caring for my mother with progressive Parkinsons. In her changing state of decline they have been compassionate, caring and loving to my mother and a friend to my father who is living through this disease with her. We had the most wonderful care taker in Linda who became a friend to our mother. She was my father's lifesaver, too. She truly was a godsend for our family, who all live in Ohio. Elizabeth the RN in charge of medications kept them on the straight and narrow. Always reporting to us every 4 weeks on how their health appeared. Susan kept us abreast of any changes and was available at all hours in an emergency. So wish we had started with them much sooner than we did. I cannot say enough about the commitment and service that my family has gotten from Home Instead and Seaside Home Health Care. The team that works with my father has been professional, incredibly responsive to our needs, and communicates with me regularly. On several occasions they have gone way above and beyond the call of duty!! They deal with my father graciously, with humor, and with compassion. Seaside Home Health Care provided outstanding in-home care to a spirited, independent family member (in other words, a real "humdinger"). Although it was a complicated assignment for Seaside (our relative had aphasia, chronic pain, and cognitive decline), their faithful partnership with us through the twists and turns, highs and lows, made it possible for our family member to stay safely in his home as long as possible. Nurse Elizabeth is the GOAT! If you are looking for Home Health Care, Seaside should be your first call.

The Charlotte County location is bad. Other Florida county locations are better. One Punta Gorda Home Instead 'caregiver' had a broken passenger window on their car. So my family member could have cut their hand entering the passenger side of the car. Another 'caregiver' from the same location had their car break down while my family member was being driven home from a grocery store outing. Scary. Staffing is an issue and people kept leaving.
