It's hard to find the right words to express my appreciation and gratitude for my Home Instead caregiver, Lori Fuiten. My husband has had Parkinson's Disease for 32 years. He has limited mobility, hearing loss, macular degeneration and a suprapubic catheter. From day one she jumped right in without hesitation to meet his physical needs. The entire staff of Home Instead were beyond amazing. They enabled us to keep our Mom/Grandmother home, exactly where she wanted to be, in her final weeks. I regret to say that Home Instead staff are not very good at following up, and their online care portal is not reliable or functional. I cannot leave TO DO requests and in order to get some feedback to the posts or communication that I can add, I am forced to call in to the office. In addition, when it comes to the care of my father, caretaker changes have been made without any notification ahead of time.
