I wouldn’t look anywhere else for care for my parents. Home Instead has done an incredible job with great caregivers and cheerful office staff when you call with questions!
Most of the caretakers do NOTHING but sit in the back room and watch TV or play on their phones. There have been other issues that I can't go into publicly.
My family currently receives care from home instead in gibsonia. Some of the aides are not very friendly to my family member(s) & in their reports are submitting/falsifying information in their reports. This needs to stop. If they can’t be truthful and honest then they don’t need to be taking care of my great uncle and aunt!!! Or anyone else’s family members!! Do not recommend them at all. They pay a ton of money for this service as well.
We have had a difficult time with reliability and the quality of aides coming in to care for an elderly parent. The inconsistency and turnover of staffing has not been a positive experience. Aides have canceled at the last minute or even after a shift was supposed to start, leaving us in a position where there is no back up and no one to cover for care.
